What’s Good And Bad With LG Chocolate
Everybody’s enamored by the sweetness and heavenly delight of LG Chocolate VX8500. It’s very stylish and so easy to carry that you wouldn’t feel any additional load in your pocket or in your bag. But is it completely sheer pleasure or are there any ugly hidden truths? What is there to love—or hate—with LG Chocolate?
What’s Good
First of all, there’s the name, which invokes happy thoughts and is really effective if you want memory recall of your product. And it does resemble like a chocolate bar with its rectangular shape and very dark color.
Yet it’s also very sexy and sleek, and is a very cool sliding phone. Its screen display measures perfectly at two inches and has an image resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Because it’s slightly bigger, it can allow you to read up to 11 lines of text message. It can display color sharply and clearly—in fact, one of the best there is in the market today. When the phone is not in use, the slide appears closed, only revealing the LG logo and an OK button. This further adds to the mystery LG Chocolate possesses. Moreover, its navigation buttons as well as other keys in the keypad can function as shortcuts to basic phone functions, like text messaging and phone book.
You can also connect to the Internet and supports both USB and Bluetooth connections. This means you can communicate with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, regardless of their manufacturers, and that you can move files from your PC to your phone and vice versa.
Its music player couldn’t have got close to Apple’s iPod, but nonetheless it can produce crystal-clear sounds. It can also play common music formats. Videos, on the other hand, can be stored in its 128MB memory.
What’s Bad
One of the biggest downsides of LG Chocolate will be its ultrasensitive keypads. Even if the setting is already modified to low, the slightest touch of a finger will automatically activate the phone. The power button is actually located in the phone’s left spine, which a couple of you may find a little quirky.
Its screen display possesses reflective qualities which makes it prone to fingerprints and smudges. You can’t see the phone when you’re in direct light, and it’s nearly impossible to press those keys if the backlights are off. A lot of features can’t be customized too.
Its phonebook can only accommodate to up to 500 contacts compared to its other counterparts. Moreover, its battery renders a very short talk time. Worse, it doesn’t have a speakerphone.
You can’t expect for all chocolates to be real good, but hopefully despite the advantages, LG Chocolate can still satisfy your cravings for the best designer phone.
